Sécheron EFFICIENT-REC rectifiers for DC traction power supplies draw on years of experience developing and manufacturing rectifiers for the railway industry. Our air-cooled rectifiers are equipped with high-overload, high-blocking-voltage diodes or thyristors.

These semiconductor devices are time-tested and optimally dimensioned to deliver high performance and reliability. All rectifier components are fully interchangeable; we can deliver rectifiers for your unique specifications and for all types of traction networks.

  • Rated DC voltage 750 Volts, 1’500 Volts, 3’000 Volts.
  • Up to 10MW.
  • Class VI overload (or other on demand).
  • Design variants: fixed, drawout or disconnectable.
  • Controlled variant: regulation of the voltage of the line in order to compensate voltage drops.
  • Specific cost efficient variant for lightrail systems with integrated isolating switch.
  • Power connection from either the top or the bottom of the cubicle.
  • 6, 12 or 24 pulses.
  • Protection degree IP2x or IP32.
  • Reference standards: IEC 60146-1-1, IEC 60747, EN 50328.
  • Reference standards: IEEE ANSI C34.2.
