Sécheron’s long-standing culture of testing and safety shapes everything we do, from development and engineering through to production. Our products and solutions undergo extensive, intensive factory testing to ensure superior reliability and uptime in service. One of the things that makes us unique is our broad, deep knowledge of testing methods and our in-house testing labs and equipment. We are especially proficient in the testing needs of the railway industry, and our know-how encompasses feasibility, proof-of-concept, prototype, and pre-series testing, as well as tests on project-specific solutions.

Because we can handle most testing campaigns in house, turnaround times are fast. Our capabilities include: temperature-rise testing, dielectric and partial discharge measurements, complete electrical and mechanical endurance tests, short-circuit and low-current interruptions, voltage and current sensors accuracy measurements, vibration and shock tests, and functional and climate tests. For other testing needs our engineers work closely with trusted outside partners.

Most of our testing facilities are ISO 17025-accredited as independent laboratories.
