BSV
Characteristics
The BSV interlocking box is a safety device, installed in the pneumatic circuit of the pantograph, or any of any other pneumatic driven device.
For maintenance operations, the BSV interlocking box is manually set in the OFF position, interrupting the pneumatic circuit and releasing the air pressure in the pantograph. Through this operation the pantograph is lowered and maintained in its low position. Removing the key on the interlocking box prevents any change of position and guarantees the safety during maintenance operations.
