DC switchgear serves as the control and protection equipment for the distribution of power to the overhead lines. The cubicle is of modular concept with separated compartments for both high and low voltage equipments and is made of three main parts: The High speed circuit breaker compartment, the rear compartment and the Protection and control compartment.
