The SW type switch is an off-load switch integrated in cubicles used in DC traction substations for the following functions: Isolation of the transformer-rectifier group (positive and/or negative pole(s), Feeder disconnector, Feeder by-pass /changeover switch mounted in the feeder breaker panels for substations equipped with a spare feeder, Coupling/isolation of line section, Coupling/isolation of test tracks or depot lines. The SW off-load switch is designed to cover all application with rated thermal currents from 500 to 6300 A and rated voltages from 600 to 3000 Vdc and depending on its configuration, can be operated manually or remotely.
