Master Controllers

Description

The BSK type master controller is installed in the driver's cab of traction vehicles such as Light Rail Vehicles, Locomotives and Metros/EMUs.
The design of the BSK master controller is based on standard experienced modules featuring the following usual functions:

• Control switch ON-OFF
• Direction selection Forward – Neutral – Reverse
• Dead Man function
• Powering and/or braking control
  

The design offers a wide range of combinations and enables the customer to select within an available range, items such as the master controller handle, the top plate, the master key and the multi-pole connector.
A position encoder or a potentiometer that enables a smooth powering and braking of the vehicle, combined with a camshaft that provides redundant information of the main handle positions through switches, guarantees to the master controller type BSK a high security and reliability level.
